If I buy a pair of jeans in size 26, I expect they will fit me like every other 26 I own. As I understand it, “26” should represent a measurement, not just some meaningless size such as “2”.
So, you can understand my frustration when I order two pairs of jeans, one in size 26 and the other in size 27 (the only size left), and I can’t even pull the 27 past mid-thigh. The size 26 pair, however, fits just fine with room to spare.
Women’s clothing sizing is the worst.
