So, ya know how they’re sending that time capsule, KEO, into space in a couple years? And it’s supposed to be up there for, oh about 50,000 years and then re-enter Earth’s atmosphere? Don’t you think people/cyborgs/terminators/jedis/amoebas/whatever lives on this planet 500 centuries from now are going to be FREAKED THE EFF OUT by this apparent message from space? If the movie Idiocracy (yes, I’ve seen that) is any indication of the future, this time capsule may be entirely incomprehensible and catapult the future Earth into it’s newest War on (Alien) Terror.

I am legitimately concerned.
